One must live, not merely exist. This philosophy is what drives Valentin Okorokov. Ironically, as an artist, he prefers to work in stone—the hardest, coldest, most lifeless and unyielding medium. But as a rare master of the Classical tradition, bringing marble to life is as effortless as being in love.
